Remote Medical Director - Oncology

About the Role

Precision for Medicine is hiring a Remote Medical Director – Oncology to join our global team! As a Remote Medical Director, you will have the opportunity to work remotely in various locations including the UK, Poland, Hungary, Romania, Serbia, or Slovakia. Your primary focus will be to ensure the accuracy and integrity of clinical trial data, emphasizing patient safety and regulatory compliance.

What You'll Do

• Serve as the project physician, providing medical and scientific expertise to project teams.
• Collaborate closely with senior leaders in Medical, Operational Strategy, and Business Development to support client engagement.
• Participate in the RFP process by preparing the medical considerations section for proposals and supporting bid defense meetings.
• Write or edit scientific content for deliverables, ensuring they are within budget and timelines.
• Work with Regulatory Affairs on the regulatory product landscape and strategies as part of the overall drug development strategy.
• Provide scientific insight and create content for company releases, including white papers and publication manuscripts.
• Review and revise protocols, case report forms, training materials, and project-specific tools.
• Act as a medical resource for study sites, project teams, and clients, ensuring effective communication and support.

Requirements

• MD or equivalent medical degree with significant experience in Oncology.
• 5+ years of experience in a medical director role or similar position.
• Strong understanding of clinical trial processes and regulatory requirements.
• Proven ability to write and edit scientific documents and proposals.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment.
• Experience with data analysis and interpretation in clinical settings.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Nice to Have

• Experience in a leadership role within a clinical research organization.
• Familiarity with drug development processes in Oncology/Haematology.
• Published author in peer-reviewed journals.
