About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Remote Loan Officer Assistant to join our team at Heritage Bank. In this role, you will support our loan officers in processing mortgage applications and ensuring a smooth loan origination process. As a Remote Loan Officer Assistant, you will play a crucial role in facilitating communication between clients and loan officers, making sure all documentation is collected and processed efficiently.

What You'll Do

• Assist loan officers in managing loan applications and documentation.
• Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with TRID regulations and internal policies.
• Maintain organized records of loan files and documentation.
• Support the loan origination process by coordinating with various stakeholders.
• Provide excellent customer service and address client inquiries promptly.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to workflow improvements.
• Utilize Encompass and other tools for effective loan processing.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in loan processing or mortgage lending.
• Strong communication skills and customer service orientation.
• Familiarity with Encompass and TRID regulations is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Proficient in data management and documentation control.
• Experience in a remote work environment is preferred.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of credit analysis and risk management.
• Experience in project management or team leadership.
• Familiarity with SQL and data engineering concepts.
