About the Role

We are seeking a passionate Remote Graphic Design Technical Mentor to join our team at ALX Africa. In this role, you will have the opportunity to help emerging African creatives master storytelling and equip them with the technical and strategic skills necessary to thrive in the creator economy. If you have hands-on experience building and launching visual campaigns from scratch and thrive in fully remote, learner-first environments, this role is for you.

What You'll Do

  • Guide and mentor students in graphic design principles and practices.
  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions to enhance students' technical skills.
  • Provide feedback on students' projects and help them refine their work.
  • Collaborate with industry professionals to create real-world projects for students.
  • Engage with the community to foster a supportive learning environment.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in graphic design and visual storytelling.
  • Strong understanding of design software such as Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experience in mentoring or teaching is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for empowering others and fostering creativity.
