About the Role

We are seeking a Remote Global Logistics Operations Manager to join our innovative team at Mill, a company dedicated to waste prevention technology. As a Global Logistics Operations Manager, you will own the strategy and execution of all logistics and distribution operations across the full lifecycle of Mill's hardware products. This role is crucial in ensuring that our logistics operations are efficient and effective, contributing to our mission of transforming food waste into valuable resources.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and execute end-to-end logistics and distribution strategies that ensure on-time delivery, optimized schedules, and cost efficiency across distribution, refurbishment, warranty, and special programs.
  • Own and manage strategic relationships with third-party logistics (3PL) distribution and logistics partners, driving operational efficiency and leveraging partner capabilities to maximize customer satisfaction and responsiveness.
  • Lead continuous cost-optimization initiatives across the full distribution chain, from point of manufacture through last-mile delivery.
  • Leverage advanced inventory and demand models to optimize pipeline inventory levels, balancing service levels, working capital, and risk of excess or obsolete stock.
  • Select, evaluate, and manage all logistics partners, including leading pricing, contract, and performance negotiations.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in logistics operations management, preferably in a technology or sustainability-focused environment.
  • Proven track record of managing logistics and distribution operations, including inbound and outbound distribution, global freight transportation, and customs compliance.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data to drive decision-making and optimize logistics processes.
  • Experience in managing relationships with 3PL providers and freight partners.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a high-impact logistics team.
