Remote Enterprise Account Management Director - FinTech Leader

About the Role

We are hiring a Remote Enterprise Account Management Director to lead our efforts in fostering and deepening relationships with our largest enterprise merchants. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our enterprise clients maximize the value derived from our payments platform. As a leader in FinTech, Shift4 is at the forefront of redefining commerce, and this position is essential to our mission.

What You'll Do

  • Own the overall success, health, and retention of a portfolio of strategic enterprise merchants.
  • Act as the primary point of contact and escalation owner for complex, high-impact accounts.
  • Build and maintain trusted, long-term relationships with executive, technical, and operational stakeholders.
  • Lead enterprise clients through onboarding, integrations, platform enhancements, and ongoing optimization initiatives.
  • Partner closely with internal teams (Product, Engineering, Risk, Compliance, Operations, Support) to deliver seamless enterprise-level service.
  • Proactively identify risks to account health and drive mitigation strategies.
  • Conduct regular business reviews focused on performance, value realization, and roadmap.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in enterprise account management, particularly within the FinTech sector.
  • Strong understanding of payments ecosystems, especially in e-commerce and card-not-present (CNP) environments.
  • Exceptional relationship management skills with a focus on customer success.
  • Ability to navigate complex organizational structures and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional service.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a remote capacity.

  • Experience with payment processing technologies and platforms.
  • Familiarity with compliance and risk management in the payments space.
