About the Role

We are seeking a talented Remote Electrical Industrial Estimator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in electrical estimating and project management to deliver accurate cost estimates for various electrical construction projects. As a key member of our team, you will work remotely, allowing you to balance your professional and personal life effectively.

What You'll Do

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for electrical projects using specialized estimating software such as Accubid and SimPro.
  • Conduct quantity takeoffs and blueprint analysis to ensure accurate project costing.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and specifications.
  • Utilize analytical skills to assess project risks and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Prepare tender documents and proposals for submission to clients.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry standards throughout the estimating process.
  • Provide support during project execution by assisting with budget management and cost control.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and advancements in electrical construction.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience as an Electrical Estimator or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in estimating software, particularly Accubid and Bluebeam.
  • Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Experience with electrical construction and safety management practices.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and 3D building models effectively.
  • Familiarity with project management principles and practices.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with solar panel installation projects.
  • Knowledge of safety compliance and management.
  • Previous experience in industrial electrical construction.
