About the Role

We are looking for a Remote Developer Relations Engineer to join Horizen Labs, a leader in privacy-focused blockchain technology. In this role, you will be instrumental in growing and supporting our global developer ecosystem. As a Remote Developer Relations Engineer, you will provide hands-on technical integration support, developer education, and documentation ownership, ensuring developers have the clarity and tools they need to successfully integrate privacy technologies and deploy their applications on the Horizen network.

What You'll Do

  • Act as a primary point of contact for developers building on Horizen, providing support and guidance.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation and educational resources for developers.
  • Conduct workshops and training sessions to educate developers on integrating Horizen's privacy technologies.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure developer feedback is incorporated into product development.
  • Evangelize Horizen's technology at industry events and through online channels.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a technical role, preferably as a developer relations engineer or similar.
  • Strong background in blockchain technologies, specifically EVM, Solidity, and related frameworks.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
  • Experience with developer education and community engagement.
  • Passion for blockchain technology and a desire to help others succeed in the ecosystem.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with zero-knowledge proofs and privacy technologies.
  • Familiarity with decentralized applications (dApps) and smart contract development.
  • Previous experience in a consulting or support role.
