Remote Consultant - Conflict Analysis and Sensitivity

About the Role

We are seeking a Remote Consultant specializing in Conflict Analysis and Conflict Sensitivity to join our team. What You'll Do

• Conduct thorough conflict analysis to identify key issues and trends affecting humanitarian efforts.
• Develop and implement conflict sensitivity strategies to enhance project effectiveness.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to design project proposals that align with humanitarian principles.
• Utilize data analysis tools such as Google Analytics, R/RStudio, and Power BI to inform decision-making.
• Engage in capacity-building initiatives to strengthen local partners' abilities in conflict analysis.

Requirements

• Proven experience in conflict analysis and sensitivity, preferably in a humanitarian context.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in statistical analysis and data visualization.
• Familiarity with ACAPS methodologies and tools.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively.

Nice to Have

• Experience in public sector projects related to gender equality and policy analysis.
• Knowledge of advocacy strategies in humanitarian settings.
• Fluency in multiple languages.
