Remote Cloud Architect - Node.js & React Specialist

3Pillar is seeking a Remote Cloud Architect with expertise in Node.js and React to join our innovative team. What You'll Do

• Act as the primary technical owner from design to resolution of tailored solutions to complex problems on cloud platforms.
• Diagram milestones and identify potential red flags before they escalate into issues.
• Partner with stakeholders to determine functional and nonfunctional requirements, as well as business goals.
• Assess and plan for new technology insertion while managing risk identification and mitigation strategies.
• Contribute to code reviews, documentation, and architectural artifacts.
• Lead and mentor engineers through Communities of Practice (CoPs) or project teams, supporting the growth of technical capabilities.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
• A minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Software Architect, with proficiency in Azure Cloud Services in a React/Node application environment.
• Microsoft Azure AZ-305 certification (must have).
• Experience with Node.js backend framework and TypeScript.
• Good to have exposure in NestJs/ExpressJs and Zod schema validation.
• Familiarity with GitHub, GitHub Actions, Kubernetes, and Azure Service Bus.
• Experience with databases such as Postgres and Sequelize ORM.
• High level of English proficiency required for effective communication with a globally-based development team.

Nice to Have

• Foundational knowledge in Data Analysis/Modelling/Architecture and ETL Dataflows.
• Understanding of serverless architecture and ability to write infrastructure as code.
• Experience in designing multi-tenant SaaS applications.
• Financial management experience and ROI calculation.
• Solutions Architect certification on major cloud platforms (Azure) and TOGAF Certified.
