About the Role

Handshake is seeking a Remote Attorney for AI Research to join our innovative team. As a Remote Attorney for AI Research, you will evaluate AI-generated content and provide critical feedback that enhances AI's understanding of legal principles, statutory interpretation, and professional legal communication.

What You'll Do

• Utilize your legal expertise to assess AI-generated content and provide insightful feedback.
• Engage in flexible, hourly contract work, contributing approximately 5-20 hours per week based on project needs.
• Collaborate with a diverse team to improve AI's capabilities in legal analysis and reasoning.
• Maintain high standards of discretion and confidentiality while working independently.
• Follow written guidelines to ensure compliance with legal standards.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active or previously active law license in good standing.
• Professional experience practicing law in a firm, corporate, or government setting.
• Strong written communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage your schedule effectively.
