RCM AR Associate - Worker's Comp Remote Position

About the Role

We are seeking an RCM AR Associate - Worker's Comp remote position at Upstream Rehabilitation, where your contributions will significantly impact the timely and accurate reimbursement of aged Accounts Receivable. What You'll Do

• Review and resolve unpaid accounts to secure accurate and timely reimbursement.
• Ensure payments received are correct, complete, and properly documented.
• Correct and update account information, including payer verification, EOB review, adjustments, transfers, and task creation.
• Meet established productivity standards while maintaining high quality in all account actions.
• Identify and communicate trends, discrepancies, or issues to the team and supervisor.
• Stay current on state rules, regulations, payer requirements, and relevant publications.
• Complete all tasks, follow-ups, and escalations within required timelines.
• Participate in required remote meetings with live video.
• Other projects and duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• 1+ years of experience in Revenue Cycle, including Medicare and Commercial insurance.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• High attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.

Nice to Have

• Experience with medical billing software.
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
