About the Role
Join us as a Public Relations Intern - Remote with Young Voices, part of the Koch Internship Program (KIP). This paid, 12-week experiential learning program offers you a unique opportunity to gain meaningful work experience in the non-profit sector across the United States. As a Public Relations Intern, you will focus on public relations and media outreach, enhancing your skills in communications, media relations, and digital marketing.
What You'll Do
- Engage in media monitoring and assist in content creation to support our public relations efforts.
- Manage customer relationship management (CRM) systems, with a preference for candidates familiar with Salesforce.
- Participate in a 2-day in-person summit in Arlington, VA, to network with professionals and gain insights into the industry.
- Attend virtual professional development sessions every other Thursday to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate with team members and non-profit partners to shape the next generation of thought leaders.
Requirements
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for success in this role.
- Experience with Salesforce or other CRM platforms is a plus.
- Proficiency in Excel spreadsheets and data management is advantageous.
