Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our team remotely. At Family Care Center, we are committed to transforming lives by elevating behavioral health care. As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner remote, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to make a positive impact on the well-being of your local community.

What You'll Do

• Perform psychiatric diagnostic evaluations to determine diagnoses and treatment strategies for clients with mental health and substance use needs.
• Provide all psychiatric and medical services in compliance with health licensing boards and standards.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records for all patients evaluated and treated.
• Conduct pharmacologic treatment strategies, order medications, and monitor patient progress.
• Collaborate with MD or DO for complex cases and elevate care as necessary.
• Conduct Telemedicine appointments for both intake and follow-up encounters.
• Ensure timely access to care and flexibility in scheduling to meet client needs.
• Engage in care coordination with clients, families, and other healthcare providers.

Requirements

• Master's or Doctorate degree from an accredited nursing school.
• Completion of an accredited Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program.
• At least one year of experience as a PMHNP is preferred.
• Current full and unrestricted licensure in the state of practice and active state DEA License.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.

Nice to Have

• Experience with AI-supported clinical documentation.
• Familiarity with behavioral-health focused EHR systems.
• Previous work in a collaborative clinical team environment.
