Project Manager - Smart Infrastructure Solutions

About the Role

We are seeking a Project Manager remote to lead innovative projects that shape the future of smart parking and digital access solutions at ASSA ABLOY. As a Project Manager remote, you will have the opportunity to manage complex projects across Australasia, ensuring that we deliver intelligent infrastructure that transforms how people move, park, and pay.

What You'll Do

• Manage end-to-end project delivery, from design and planning through installation, commissioning, and handover, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Collaborate with customers and technical experts to validate designs and manage project documentation and approvals.
• Own project schedules, critical paths, risk registers, budgets, forecasts, and variation management, keeping stakeholders informed throughout the process.
• Act as the central point of contact for customers, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams, driving alignment and clear communication.
• Manage financial aspects including cost control, invoicing milestones, revenue recognition, and final accounts in partnership with Finance and Commercial teams.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and governance, delivering defect-free projects and seamless handovers to service teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
• 3–5 years’ experience delivering infrastructure, parking, transport, or technology-based projects.
• Strong knowledge of project lifecycle management, risk, and cost control.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in project management tools and MS Office.
• Exposure to parking systems, access control, IoT, or digital platforms is highly regarded.
• A proactive, resilient mindset with strong leadership presence and attention to detail.

Nice to Have

• Experience with agile project management methodologies.
• Familiarity with smart infrastructure technologies.
• Certifications in project management (PMP, PRINCE2, etc.).
