Product Manager - Privacy Solutions for Blockchain
About the Role
We are seeking a Product Manager - Privacy to join our innovative team at the Stellar Development Foundation (SDF). As a Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing Stellar's privacy capabilities, which are crucial for the adoption of blockchain technology. This remote position allows you to work with a mission-driven team dedicated to creating equitable access to the global financial system.
What You'll Do
- Develop and own Stellar’s privacy strategy, roadmap, and prioritization.
- Partner with Engineering to drive the development of SDF’s privacy prototypes and building blocks.
- Collaborate with the business development department to identify and execute key partnerships in the privacy space.
- Contribute to product discovery and define requirements for privacy-focused features.
- Drive execution as we develop practical privacy solutions for the Stellar ecosystem.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Product Manager.
- Prior experience working on or with blockchain technologies.
- Passion for building cutting-edge privacy technology.
Nice to Have
- Background in financial technologies (fintech).
- Experience with relevant cryptography tech such as Zero Knowledge (ZK) and Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE).
- Experience in writing and deploying smart contracts.
- Proficiency in Rust and/or Solidity.

- Competitive base salary ranging from $125,000 to $215,000 based on experience and skills.

Who Will Succeed Here
Proficient in managing product lifecycles with a focus on privacy technologies, including experience with cryptographic protocols and implementation of smart contracts using Rust and Solidity.
Self-motivated and comfortable in a remote work environment, demonstrating strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
