Product Development Manager - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Product Development Manager to join our team at Mondi, offering a remote opportunity to lead innovative packaging solutions. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in product development and project management to drive impactful changes in our packaging design processes.

What You'll Do

• Supervise and coordinate the work of the Product Development Department in the area of packaging design.
• Develop packaging structures and technical documentation, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Participate in the development of the BEST DESIGN CATALOG packaging database.
• Optimize packaging costs and functionality to enhance product offerings.
• Ensure the proper technical condition of the department’s equipment and tools.
• Train, evaluate, and motivate subordinate employees to foster a productive work environment.
• Collaborate with customers and internal departments such as Quality, Customer Service, Sales, and Production.
• Implement supply chain security policies and objectives within the department.

Requirements

• Higher education in technical, graphic, or related fields.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position at a manufacturing company.
• At least 3 years of experience in a subordinate position within the company.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office and technical software such as AutoCAD, Corel, Cape Pack, and Adobe Illustrator.
• Experience in project management and 3D visualization.
• Excellent communication skills in English and the ability to manage technical and color-related projects.
• Strong negotiation, organizational, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to comply with ISO standards and procedures.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of Impact and Adobe Photoshop.
• Understanding of packaging production processes and material characteristics.
• Spatial imagination and basic knowledge of descriptive geometry.
