Product Designer - User-Centric Design for Sports Platforms

About the Role
We’re looking for a Product Designer remote to join our team at FanDuel, working on our Flywheel Product organization. This role is ideal for a designer with growing confidence and skill who’s ready to help us deliver new features and enhance existing experiences that our customers love.
What You'll Do
- Lead the end-to-end design process for product features and enhancements, including discovery, ideation, prototyping, execution, and iteration.
- Collaborate with product managers to define problem spaces and shape roadmaps with a user-first perspective.
- Translate research and data insights into design decisions that balance user value and business outcomes.
- Craft thoughtful, intuitive UI with strong attention to interaction, hierarchy, accessibility, and responsiveness across devices.
- Partner with engineering to ensure designs are built to spec, resolving implementation details, and providing assets/documentation as needed.
Requirements
- 3+ years of product design experience, with a portfolio that demonstrates ownership of end-to-end product design workflows across platforms.
- Proficiency in using Figma and other modern design tools to create scalable, system-driven experiences.
- Strong grasp of visual hierarchy, layout, information architecture, and accessibility best practices.
- Clear and confident communicator—able to present design rationale and advocate for users.
- Experience contributing to or evolving a design system, with an understanding of how to maintain consistency across a product ecosystem.
Nice to Have
- Interest in sports and horse racing, or experience designing for sports platforms is valued, but not required.
