Product Designer - Remote Opportunity at Tide

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Product Designer - Remote to join our dynamic team at Tide. As a Product Designer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the user experience for our members across the globe. With over 1.8 million members, your work will directly impact small and medium enterprises (SMEs) by enhancing their banking experience.

What You'll Do

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the product lifecycle, from discovery to launch.
• Utilize your full range of design skills to create engaging experiences across mobile and web platforms.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights that inform design decisions.
• Develop design concepts from early-stage prototypes to high-fidelity mock-ups.
• Contribute to the Tide Design System to ensure consistency and quality in user experiences.
• Track and measure the impact of design changes on user engagement and satisfaction.
• Work closely with UX Research and UX Writing teams to understand member needs.
• Ensure that all designs meet accessibility standards and best practices.

Requirements

• At least 4+ years of experience in product design or UX roles.
• A strong portfolio showcasing your design process and the impact of your work.
• Experience in conducting user research and moderating sessions.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma.
• Strong storytelling skills to communicate design rationale effectively.
• Ability to collaborate with engineers to troubleshoot technical issues.
• Understanding of design systems and accessibility principles.

Nice to Have

• Experience in FinTech or related industries.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS for better collaboration with development teams.
