About the Role

We're hiring a Product Designer for Network Tools to join our innovative team at Nova Labs. This remote position allows you to contribute to the Helium Network, focusing on creating intuitive and powerful user experiences for decentralized wireless network tools. As a Product Designer for Network Tools, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of connectivity and user interaction.

What You'll Do

  • Design UX/UI experiences for Helium’s ecosystem tools, ensuring a seamless user experience.
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and community stakeholders to gather insights and feedback.
  • Create user flows, mockups, and prototypes using Figma, translating complex concepts into intuitive designs.
  • Maintain design systems that cater to diverse user experiences across various platforms.
  • Shape user journeys from onboarding to utility, ensuring users can easily navigate and utilize the tools.
  • Explore motion or micro-interactions to enhance the overall user experience.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand technical constraints and deliver feasible design solutions.
  • Stay curious about decentralized technology and its implications for user experience.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in web or mobile design, particularly in creating user-centric products.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing interaction design and visual hierarchy.
  • Proficiency with Figma and other prototyping tools.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams, demonstrating effective communication skills.
  • Ability to understand and navigate technical constraints while maintaining design integrity.
  • Curiosity about decentralized technology and its potential to transform user experiences.
  • Bonus: Experience with data visualization to present complex information in an accessible manner.
