About the Role

We are looking for a Pricing Specialist - Remote to join Cargill's global team. In this role, you will support the development and continuous implementation of complex pricing strategies aligned with business objectives and market conditions. As a Pricing Specialist, you will leverage your expertise to deploy strategic pricing initiatives, assist in proposal processes for key clients, provide insights on pricing data and tools, and act as a change agent regarding value and market pricing structures.

What You'll Do

  • Implement complex strategic pricing operations as an end-to-end process, including strategy development, pricing, process governance, and maintenance of tools aligned with business strategy.
  • Support the strategic pricing foundation by maintaining and evolving pricing science, data models, tools, and processes.
  • Lead the strategic pricing aspect in proposal processes for large clients and establish valuation criteria based on market dynamics and value-based pricing principles.
  • Educate and influence stakeholders on market conditions, economic value assessments, and pricing strategies through complex analysis, planning, and strategic communication.
  • Independently manage complex issues with minimal supervision, escalating only the most complex matters to the appropriate personnel.
  • Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum of four years of work experience in a similar role.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and Big Data management.
  • Experience in trade promotion, retail performance analysis, and profitability.
  • Knowledge of data analysis tools (Power BI).
  • Excellent emotional management, teamwork, time management, organization, and results-oriented focus.

Nice to Have

  • Experience using both internal and external data.
  • Experience utilizing strategic pricing tools.
  • Fluency in English.
