PMC Hygiene Specialist - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced PMC Hygiene Specialist to join our team in a remote capacity. This role is pivotal in ensuring compliance with hygiene standards in the Oil and Gas Engineering industry, particularly across ADNOC projects. As a PMC Hygiene Specialist, you will play a crucial role in monitoring and implementing hygiene practices that meet both local and international standards.

What You'll Do

  • Monitor and audit compliance with occupational hygiene and environmental health standards across ADNOC projects.
  • Implement Good Hygiene Practices and HACCP system requirements in catering and camp operations.
  • Conduct audits of kitchens, dining areas, and camp facilities, preparing detailed inspection reports.
  • Perform food and water safety compliance inspections in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Deliver internal hygiene and food safety training to food handlers, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
  • Evaluate site-specific HACCP manuals and recommend effective preventive and control measures.
  • Conduct HSE orientations and awareness sessions for workers to promote a culture of safety.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Health, Environmental Science, or related field.
  • NEBOSH IGC / NEBOSH Diploma and other relevant HSE certifications.
  • Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in the food and hygiene sector, including 5 years in the GCC.
  • 3 years of experience in a similar position within major international oil & gas or petrochemical projects.
  • Strong understanding of HACCP and food safety standards.

  • Experience with international clients in the energy sector.
  • Additional certifications in occupational health and safety.
