Planner/​Buyer - Aerospace Supply Chain Management

About the Role

Moog is seeking a Planner/Buyer remote to join our Aircraft division at our state-of-the-art facility in Tewkesbury. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a performance culture that empowers individuals to achieve great things. As a Planner/Buyer remote, you will be integral to our supply chain operations, ensuring the timely procurement of components while maintaining high standards of quality and cost-efficiency.

What You'll Do

• Coordinate and place purchase orders for a designated group of suppliers, ensuring compliance with contract terms.
• Maintain part planning parameters and convert demand signals into actionable purchase orders.
• Liaise with Regional Supplier Leads to obtain delivery commitments and communicate operational requirements to the regional supply chain team.
• Influence internal site functions and resolve issues through effective communication and negotiation.
• Work under pressure to meet deadlines while managing multiple tasks efficiently.

Requirements

• Proven experience in manufacturing or engineering, preferably within the Aerospace sector.
• Desired qualifications include Certification in Purchasing, Supply Chain, and Program Management.
• Familiarity with ERP / MRP / DDMRP-based material control systems.
• Excellent negotiating skills and a strong understanding of procurement processes.
• Ability to communicate complex regulations and procedures effectively.

Nice to Have

• APICS or other industry-standard certifications.
• Experience in a fast-paced supply chain environment.
• Proficiency in project management tools.
