About the Role

As a Personal Carer with Dovida, you will provide essential support to clients, becoming a vital part of their Circle of Care. This Personal Carer remote role allows you to assist clients with daily tasks, offer companionship, and provide more complex care, all while bringing kindness, respect, and understanding into their homes.

What You'll Do

  • Assist clients with daily living activities and personal care.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
  • Travel to clients' homes within a 30-40 minute radius.
  • Offer domestic assistance, meal preparation, and medication reminders.
  • Participate in comprehensive training and orientation programs.

Requirements

  • Must have a valid Australian open driver license and access to a reliable car.
  • Experience in personal care or a Certificate III in Individual Support or similar.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with clients.
  • Willingness to travel to various locations as needed.

  • Previous experience in home care services.
  • First aid certification.
  • Additional qualifications in health or social care.
