About the Role

Join the Walt Disney World Resort as a Part-Time Transportation Bus Driver. This role is perfect for those who are passionate about providing safe and enjoyable transportation for our guests. As a Transportation Bus Driver, you will operate buses and passenger vans across various routes within our parks and resorts, ensuring the safety and comfort of all passengers. What You'll Do

  • Safely operate vehicles, including buses and passenger vans, while adhering to all Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
  • Conduct vehicle inspections and maintain cleanliness and presentation of vehicles at all times.
  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests with a warm smile and assisting them with boarding.
  • Communicate safety information and other relevant details to guests over a microphone.
  • Navigate various routes within the Walt Disney World Resort, adapting to changes in demand and conditions.
  • Assist guests with accessibility needs, including operating lifts and securing wheelchairs.
  • Maintain crowd control during peak operational hours in outdoor settings.
  • Complete training to acquire your Commercial Driver's License (CDL) if not already held, with costs reimbursed by the company.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age due to licensed driving requirements.
  • At least 5 years of valid licensed operating experience, with the last three years in the United States.
  • A valid Florida Driver’s License is required to begin the CDL process.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Proven record of following state and federal motor vehicle regulations.
  • Must meet Department of Transportation Physical Standards and Regulations.
  • Availability for the first 8-12 weeks after your start date is essential.
  • Flexibility to work on weekends, specifically Saturday and Sunday.

Nice to Have

  • Florida CDL Class A or B with Passenger Endorsement.
  • Previous experience as a bus driver.
  • Bilingual abilities are a plus.
