Part-Time Registered Behavior Technician - Remote Opportunity
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Part-Time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) remote to join our team at Empower Behavioral Health. This role is crucial in delivering effective Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children with autism and other developmental disabilities. As a Registered Behavior Technician remote, you will work closely with our patients, providing personalized care and support to help them reach their full potential.
What You'll Do
- Provide 1:1 therapy in a clinic-based day program for children with autism and other developmental disabilities.
- Implement individualized treatment plans created by a BCBA.
- Track and record daily treatment via Central Reach.
- Assist BCBA in implementing behavior reduction and skill acquisition treatment plans.
- Respond appropriately to feedback and maintain/improve performance accordingly.
- Create a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for each patient.
Requirements
- Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have completed high school or equivalent.
- Experience working with children ages 18 months–12 years preferred.
- Willingness to be trained in ABA principles.
- Physical requirements include the ability to move or transport up to 50 lbs and respond quickly to manage behaviors.
Nice to Have
- Experience in a behavioral health setting.
- Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician.
- Strong communication skills.
