About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Part-Time Barista to join our team at Top Pot Doughnuts. If you love doughnuts and coffee, this is the perfect opportunity for you! As a Part-Time Barista, you will play a crucial role in providing outstanding customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. You will work at our Flagship Cafe on 5th Ave, where your personal touch will contribute to our success.

What You'll Do

  • Utilize a "guest first" mindset to prioritize customer needs and enhance their experience.
  • Demonstrate a high level of customer service and build rapport with customers.
  • Prepare and serve doughnuts, pastries, sandwiches, beverages, and coffee orders according to Top Pot's recipes and quality standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in accordance with Company guidelines and Health Department requirements.
  • Work a flexible schedule, including opening, closing, weekends, and holiday shifts.
  • Occasionally lift and move up to 25 pounds.
  • Stand and walk for the duration of your shift, ensuring a positive and energetic presence in the cafe.

Requirements

  • Must have a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Previous experience in customer service or food service is a plus but not required.
  • Must be able to work weekends and closing shifts.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.

Nice to Have

  • Experience as a barista or in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of coffee brewing methods and equipment.
  • Ability to speak multiple languages.
