About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated Operations Associate to join our team at Etherscan. As an Operations Associate, you will be instrumental in assisting users from around the globe to navigate the Etherscan platform and the Ethereum ecosystem. What You'll Do

  • Proactively update off-chain metadata on the website quickly and accurately.
  • Assist in curating Ethereum and Etherscan FAQs to aid user understanding.
  • Process technical information into simple, digestible content for users.
  • Monitor various social media channels such as Twitter and Reddit to gauge community sentiment and answer Etherscan-related questions.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience as an Operations Associate or in a similar customer support role.
  • A Bachelor's degree in English, communications, linguistics, or a related field.
  • Experience using help desk software and remote support tools.
  • Strong command of English, both written and spoken, is essential.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to identify common trends in support tickets to preemptively address issues and bugs.
  • High empathy for users who may be less knowledgeable about blockchain and cryptocurrencies.
  • Capability to handle all types of user inquiries politely and patiently, with assertiveness when necessary.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Extra points for being passionate and knowledgeable about Ethereum.
