Mobile Application Developer - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Mobile Application Developer to help develop and maintain our native mobile applications for both Android and iOS. This Mobile Application Developer remote position offers a unique opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to innovative mobile solutions.

What You'll Do

• Design, build, and maintain native mobile applications for Android and iOS.
• Collaborate on features that span both platforms, with flexibility to work primarily in one while contributing to the other.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested mobile code.
• Partner with product and backend teams to deliver high-quality mobile experiences.
• Occasionally contribute to backend services that support the mobile apps, including REST APIs written in Java.
• Help evolve the mobile platform as we modernize the stack over time.

Requirements

• Experience developing native Android applications in Java and/or native iOS applications in Objective-C.
• Strong understanding of mobile application architecture, performance, and best practices.
• Comfort working in a collaborative codebase that spans multiple platforms.
• Ability to learn and contribute outside your primary mobile platform when needed.
• Experience or familiarity with Android/Kotlin and/or iOS/Swift.
• Interest or experience working on backend systems, particularly Java-based REST services.

Nice to Have

• Experience with modern mobile development frameworks.
• Knowledge of agile development methodologies.
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices.
