Mid-Senior UX/​UI Designer - Mobile Games

About the Role

We are seeking a creative and collaborative Mid-Senior UX/UI Designer to join our team at Ruby Games, a Rovio studio. This UX/UI Designer remote position will allow you to shape the player experience for our Ruby portfolio, including popular titles like Hunter Assassin. You will focus on crafting intuitive and visually stunning interfaces that bring joy and style to millions of players.

What You'll Do

• Design player-centric UI/UX for mobile games that makes every interaction feel smooth and rewarding.
• Collaborate with your teammates to build wireframes and visual layouts that align with gameplay goals.
• Craft beautiful icons and 2D assets that keep our games looking consistent and stylish.
• Share your creative ideas for new game features and test out the latest design trends.
• Communicate and document your design choices and vision clearly to the team to support successful implementation.
• Explore market trends and different styles, sharing your insights with the team.

Requirements

• Experience designing UX/UI for mobile games and understanding what makes a live title successful.
• A deep understanding of mobile usability and Design Thinking principles.
• Proficiency with tools like Photoshop and Figma and enjoy using them to bring ideas to life.
• An eye for color and composition that helps you create balanced, beautiful screens.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills in both Turkish and English.
• Familiar with using tools like Miro and Jira to keep your projects organized and transparent.

Nice to Have

• Experience with agile methodologies and cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of game design principles and player psychology.
• Familiarity with user testing and feedback integration.
