Mid-Senior IC Design Engineer - Telematics Solutions

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Mid-Senior IC Design Engineer to join our innovative team at Teltonika Telematics. As an IC Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing cutting-edge telematics solutions, working with a team of over 500 professionals dedicated to transforming complex IoT technologies into accessible solutions. What You'll Do

• Design analog and power integrated circuits at the transistor level, focusing on schematic and layout development.
• Develop individual IC blocks, such as bandgap references, LDOs, gate drivers, and current sensing circuits.
• Conduct pre-layout and post-layout simulations, including PVT corners, Monte Carlo analysis, and reliability assessments.
• Collaborate closely with electronics engineers to define system requirements and specifications.
• Work with foundries during MPW runs and support mass production preparation.
• Prepare IC documentation for manufacturing, including schematics and design reports.
• Mentor junior IC Design Engineers, providing technical guidance and support.
• Participate in silicon bring-up, electrical characterization, and debugging processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in analog, mixed-signal, or power IC design.
• Strong understanding of analog and power electronics fundamentals.
• Proficiency in IC design tools such as Cadence (Virtuoso).
• Experience with transistor-level design of analog blocks, including amplifiers and regulators.
• Solid understanding of power converter operation and debugging complex analog systems.
• Ability to read and work with foundry PDK documentation.
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal.

Nice to Have

• Experience designing high-voltage ICs in BCD or BCD-on-SOI technologies.
• Familiarity with ESD structures and reliability considerations.
• Understanding of IC packaging technologies and their impact on performance.
• Proactive mindset with the ability to identify risks and propose improvements.
