Mid-Senior Full Stack Engineer - Autonomous Systems Remote

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Full Stack Engineer to join our team and help build the cockpit for our autonomous system. This Full Stack Engineer remote position is an exciting opportunity to create an interface that fosters trust between users and machines. You will be responsible for the entire layer where humans interact with the machine, transitioning Pepr from a white-glove service to a fully self-serve platform.

What You'll Do

• Build the Command Center: Architect the primary web interface where executives monitor performance through real-time dashboards and audit logs.
• Engineer the Slack Operating System: Create deep Slack integrations that serve as the primary interface for our users, enabling workflows for anomaly alerts and interactive approval flows.
• Develop Generative Analytics: Integrate LLMs to power on-demand analysis, allowing users to ask natural language questions about their data.
• Design for Explainability: Build UI components that explain AI decisions, visualizing complex causal data into intuitive Rationale cards.
• Lead the transition of Pepr to a self-serve platform, ensuring that a $100M brand can confidently manage their P&L.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as a Full Stack Engineer, with a focus on building web applications.
• Proficiency in React and TypeScript for frontend development, and Python or Node.js for backend development.
• Strong communication skills to present complex data simply and effectively.
• Ability to identify friction points in user experience and implement solutions.
• Experience with Slack app development is a plus.

Nice to Have

• Experience with LLM integration and low-latency AI experiences.
• Familiarity with component libraries and design systems.
• Experience in startup environments, building products from the ground up.
