About the Role

We are seeking a talented Decentralized Software Engineer - Full Stack to join our innovative team at DevDocs. This remote position is perfect for someone who enjoys working with distributed systems, coordination, and state management. As a Decentralized Software Engineer, you will have the opportunity to contribute to exciting projects that go beyond typical blockchain models, engaging with decentralized technologies in a meaningful way.

What You'll Do

  • Build and evolve full-stack systems that interact with decentralized or distributed components.
  • Work across frontend and backend to support complex system behavior.
  • Reason through coordination, data flow, and state modeling challenges.
  • Collaborate closely with a small team to explore and refine architectural approaches.
  • Learn new tools, languages, and paradigms as the problem space evolves.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
  • Full-stack experience using TypeScript and/or Java.
  • Interest in distributed or decentralized systems.
  • Exposure to Hyperledger / Hyperledger Labs is a plus.
  • Familiarity with functional programming concepts.
  • Haskell experience is a plus.
  • Daml interest or exposure is a bonus.
  • Positive energy, curiosity, and comfort working through ambiguity.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with decentralized technologies beyond typical blockchain models.
  • Curiosity and strong fundamentals in software engineering.
