Mid-Senior Analytics Engineer - Web3 & Digital Finance

About the Role

We're hiring a Mid-Senior Analytics Engineer to join our dynamic team in the Web3 and digital finance education sector. This Analytics Engineer remote position offers a unique opportunity to work with a high-growth client that is rapidly scaling and aiming for unicorn status. As an Analytics Engineer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the data infrastructure that drives strategic decisions across the organization.

What You'll Do

• Own the design and optimization of a Snowflake data warehouse, implementing a structured Bronze → Silver → Gold architecture.
• Write advanced SQL to clean, transform, and aggregate data, ensuring high performance and cost optimization.
• Set up and maintain ETL pipelines using tools like Fivetran and Airbyte, integrating data from various sources including marketing and CRM systems.
• Build dimensional models for marketing, finance, and sales metrics, translating business needs into effective data structures.
• Develop dashboards using BI tools such as Tableau and Power BI, maintaining KPI definitions and performing ad hoc analysis.
• Automate reporting workflows and set up data quality checks, ensuring the integrity of data across the organization.

Requirements

• 4–6+ years of experience as an Analytics Engineer, BI Developer, or Data Engineer.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Snowflake, including building and maintaining production-grade environments.
• Proficiency in SQL, with capabilities in advanced queries, CTEs, and window functions.
• Experience with ETL/ELT pipelines and data modeling techniques.
• Strong understanding of business metrics such as CAC, LTV, and MRR.
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder collaboration.

Nice to Have

• Experience with HubSpot or similar CRM systems.
• Scripting skills in Python or JavaScript.
• Familiarity with APIs and version control systems like Git.
• Knowledge of dbt (data build tool).
• Experience in marketing analytics and attribution modeling.
