About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Intelligence Analyst - Remote to join our team. As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will play a crucial role in preparing data for analysis, designing data visualizations, and providing data-driven insights to support business decisions.

What You'll Do

  • Prepare and clean data for analysis to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Design and develop data visualizations using Power BI to effectively communicate insights.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive business decisions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs and deliver actionable insights.
  • Utilize SQL for data querying and manipulation.
  • Employ DAX for aggregating, filtering, and manipulating data.
  • Work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Participate in Agile methodologies, specifically Scrum and Kanban.

Requirements

  • 5-10 years of experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst or similar role.
  • Proven experience in data analytics and working with Power BI.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Familiarity with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and agile methodologies.
  • Proficiency in SQL and DAX.
  • Experience with data preparation and ETL processes.
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R is a plus.

Nice to Have

  • A degree in a relevant field such as Data Science, Statistics, or Computer Science.
  • Understanding of data governance and data quality management.
  • Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and tools.
