About the Role

Join Lingokids as a Mid-Level 2D Animation Artist in a fully remote capacity! As a key contributor, you will develop engaging animations that enhance gameplay and player experience, all while working with a passionate team dedicated to redefining education through Playlearning™.

What You'll Do

• Create captivating character animations that align with gameplay mechanics and artistic vision.
• Balance animation quality with production efficiency, ensuring deadlines are met effectively.
• Collaborate closely with designers and artists to maintain a cohesive visual style.
• Provide mentorship and feedback to junior animators, fostering their skill development.
• Contribute to the improvement of animation libraries and workflow processes.
• Troubleshoot animation issues and work alongside technical teams to implement solutions.
• Participate in play-testing sessions, refining animations based on user feedback.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of 2D animation principles and motion dynamics.
• Proficiency in Adobe Animate and experience integrating animations into game engines.
• Ability to adapt to various animation styles and technical constraints.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a focus on constructive feedback.
• Time management skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluency in English is essential for effective communication in our multicultural team.

Nice to Have

• Experience with character rigging.
• Familiarity with other animation software.
• Knowledge of game design principles.
