Mid-Career Human Resources Specialist - Remote
About the Role
We are looking for a Mid-Career Human Resources Specialist to join Frost-Arnett Company in a fully remote capacity. As a Human Resources Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting our core people operations across the employee lifecycle. This position is perfect for an HR professional with 2–4 years of hands-on experience who is detail-oriented and employee-focused. You will be empowered to foster a positive work environment while ensuring compliance and delivering exceptional service to our employees.
What You'll Do
- Serve as a trusted HR point of contact for employees and managers, providing guidance and support.
- Create and facilitate employee engagement initiatives to enhance workplace morale.
- Manage full-cycle recruiting efforts for both hourly and salaried roles, ensuring a smooth hiring process.
- Coordinate onboarding experiences and new employee orientation programs to integrate new hires effectively.
- Administer and manage employee leaves of absence, maintaining compliance with relevant laws.
- Maintain accurate employee records within the HRIS, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
- Generate reports and support audits related to HR data to uphold compliance standards.
- Utilize strong knowledge of HR principles and laws to navigate complex employee situations.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of progressive HR experience, with a focus on full-cycle recruiting and onboarding.
- Demonstrated experience administering leaves of absence and managing employee records.
- Working knowledge of HRIS platforms and data maintenance practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field preferred.
- Experience supporting multi-state organizations is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills to foster a collaborative environment.
- Attention to detail in maintaining records and ensuring compliance with HR policies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
Nice to Have
- Experience with employee engagement initiatives.
- Knowledge of healthcare industry regulations and compliance.
- Certification in HR (e.g., PHR, SPHR) is a plus.
