About the Role

We are seeking a passionate Memory Care Program Director to join our team at Watermark Retirement Communities. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of seniors while working in a supportive environment. As a Memory Care Program Director remote, you will oversee the care delivered by our dedicated caregivers and develop meaningful relationships with residents.

What You'll Do

  • Supervise and manage the care provided by caregivers in the memory care unit.
  • Develop and implement innovative programs that enhance the quality of life for residents.
  • Foster a positive and engaging environment for both residents and staff.
  • Ensure compliance with state regulations and maintain exceptional survey history.
  • Conduct training and educational programs for staff to improve care delivery.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience in assisted living or memory care management.
  • Proven leadership skills and experience in team building.
  • Exceptional knowledge of state regulations related to memory care.
  • Strong communication skills and proficiency in computer applications (Word, Excel).
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; Associate's degree considered with relevant experience.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in developing memory care programs.
  • Background in gerontology or a related field.
  • Certification in memory care or related training.
