About the Role

We are seeking a Member of Technical Staff - Blockchain Backend Engineer to join our team at Anchorage Digital. This remote position offers an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of the crypto movement, working on a platform that enables institutions to participate in digital assets. As a Blockchain Backend Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing scalable and reliable systems that support various crypto assets.

What You'll Do

• Deeply research and integrate new cryptoassets into Anchorage Digital’s platform.
• Implement participatory features such as staking, governance, and vesting.
• Develop abstractions that scale across all crypto networks.
• Monitor network-wide issues and support assets through upgrades.
• Contribute to and review code across the entire stack and engineering organization.

Requirements

• Real-world experience building complex distributed systems.
• Proficiency in Go or willingness to learn new programming languages.
• Strong focus on code quality and test infrastructure.
• Understanding of computer science fundamentals, including concurrency, algorithms, and data structures.
• Ability to prioritize end-user experience and business value.

Nice to Have

• Experience with applied cryptography.
• Background in the finance industry.
• Interest in reading blockchain protocol white papers.
