About the Role

Join Reach as a Videographer and bring stories to life! This remote Videographer position allows you to capture compelling narratives both in the field and the studio, making a significant impact in our Express team.

What You'll Do

• Be the go-to visual storyteller for the newsroom, shooting original, high-quality footage for various AV outputs.
• Lead complex shoots and meticulous edits, transforming raw footage into platform-ready videos with compelling narratives.
• Collaborate with the brand producer to develop premium content, ensuring audio and video quality enhances every story.
• Upload and distribute content alongside editorial teams while adhering to legal and editorial standards.
• Support the wider network during breaking news and utilize approved AI tools to enhance accuracy and engagement.
• Create on-brand affiliate content rooted in product research and audience insights to drive clicks and revenue.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Videographer/Editor with a strong portfolio showcasing high-performing video content.
• Expertise in solo location filming and managing multi-camera studio setups with DSLRs.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (or equivalent) for editing and post-production.
• Excellent planning, organization, and time management skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly and manage stakeholders effectively.
• Familiarity with media law is preferred; training available for those without.

Nice to Have

• NCTJ/BTCJ qualifications are advantageous.
• Experience in a newsroom environment.
• A sharp news sense and adaptability in fast-paced settings.
