About the Role
At Anchorage Digital, we are seeking a Member of Technical Staff, Blockchain Backend Engineer to join our innovative team. This remote position offers you the opportunity to work on the world’s most advanced digital asset platform, enabling institutions to participate in the crypto ecosystem. You will be at the forefront of new cryptoasset support, integrating various blockchains and technologies into our platform.
What You'll Do
- Deeply research new cryptoassets and integrate them into Anchorage Digital’s platform.
- Implement participatory features such as staking, governance, and vesting.
- Develop abstractions that scale across all crypto-networks.
- Support assets through upgrades and monitor for network-wide issues.
- Contribute to and review code across the entire stack and engineering organization.
Requirements
- Real-world experience building complex distributed systems.
- Proficiency in Go or willingness to learn new languages.
- Experience in building resilient services that handle varying workloads.
- Strong focus on code quality and test infrastructure.
- Understanding of computer science fundamentals such as concurrency, algorithms, and data structures.
Nice to Have
- Experience with applied cryptography.
- Interest in blockchain protocol white papers.

Who Will Succeed Here
Proficient in Go programming language with a strong understanding of Goroutines and Channels for building efficient distributed systems.
Self-motivated and disciplined to work effectively in a fully remote environment, demonstrating excellent time management and proactive communication skills.
Experience in implementing cryptographic protocols and ensuring code quality through rigorous testing frameworks, such as Go's testing package or Testify.
