Medior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer - Relocation to Netherlands

About the Role

We are seeking a Medior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our dynamic team at Xccelerated. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Cloud Engineer who is ready to relocate to the Netherlands and work on innovative cloud solutions. As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will help build a modern, secure cloud platform on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) while accelerating your growth through structured, high-level training.

What You'll Do

• Design and implement cloud infrastructure and platform components on GCP.
• Build and manage cloud-based data platforms using tools such as BigQuery, Cloud SQL, Dataflow, dbt, and Cloud Storage.
• Monitor and optimize performance, security, and cost efficiency of cloud environments.
• Automate infrastructure and workflows to improve scalability and reliability.
• Support and advise development teams on cloud architecture and best practices.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Stay up to date with the latest Google Cloud developments and cloud-native best practices.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cloud, IT, or a related field.
• 4–5 years of experience in Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure, Platform Engineering, or DevOps.
• Hands-on experience with public cloud platforms (strong preference for GCP, but AWS or Azure is also welcome).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar).
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud security best practices.
• Proficiency in Python or Go.
• Willingness to relocate to the Netherlands and work in an English-speaking environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience with multi-cloud environments.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies.
• Certifications in cloud technologies (e.g., GCP, AWS).
