Material Controller - Remote Opportunity
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Material Controller to join our team remotely. In this role, you will manage engineering materials across planning, procurement, storage, and issuance while ensuring inventory accuracy, cost efficiency, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards. As a Material Controller, you will play a crucial role in maintaining CMMS/SAP-PM data integrity, supporting audits, and driving continuous improvement in material management processes.
What You'll Do
- Manage engineering materials throughout the entire lifecycle, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Maintain accurate records in CMMS/SAP-PM systems to support audits and compliance.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in material management processes.
- Ensure effective implementation of maintenance plans through collaboration with Shift Engineers and the Utilities & Facilities Engineer.
- Support engineering documentation and regulatory compliance by managing document control processes.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in material management or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of CMMS/SAP-PM systems.
- Experience in compliance with ISO/FSMS standards.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
