Manufacturing & Logistics Specialist - Freelance Remote
About the Role
We are seeking a Manufacturing & Logistics Specialist - Remote to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will manage supply chain activities for a fast-growing consumer brand, ensuring smooth coordination with manufacturers and logistics partners to optimize production and fulfillment processes. What You'll Do
- Manage end-to-end supply chain activities to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Liaise with domestic and overseas manufacturers to maintain strong relationships.
- Oversee inbound and outbound logistics to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Track shipments and resolve discrepancies to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Reconcile inventory data across systems to ensure consistency.
- Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with trade and shipping regulations to mitigate risks.
- Maintain product quality standards throughout the supply chain.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in manufacturing or logistics.
- Experience working with domestic and international manufacturers.
- Familiarity with ERP systems like NetSuite is a plus.
- Proven experience managing 3PL relationships effectively.
- Background in Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) or Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) environments.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills to manage complex data.
- Proficiency in Google Sheets and Excel for data management.
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
- A proactive problem-solving mindset with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to Have
- Experience with supply chain optimization tools.
- Knowledge of logistics software and tracking systems.
- Certifications in supply chain management or logistics.
