Manager M&A - Remote Position at netgo

About the Role

We are seeking a Manager M&A (remote) to join our dynamic team at netgo, one of Germany's largest IT service providers. In this role, you will play a crucial part in shaping the strategic development of our company while driving our ambitious buy-and-build strategy in the fast-paced IT services market.

What You'll Do

• Identify attractive add-on acquisitions and analyze relevant market segments.
• Engage proactively with owners and management teams of potential target companies.
• Conduct strategic evaluations of potential targets and advise management on investment decisions.
• Perform financial analysis and valuation, creating robust business cases.
• Steer complex due diligence processes and coordinate external advisors.
• Support the structuring, drafting, and negotiation of purchase agreements.
• Oversee transactions from initial contact to successful closing.

Requirements

• Academic background: Above-average Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Business Informatics, Engineering, or a comparable field.
• At least two years of relevant professional experience in Private Equity, Investment Banking, Consulting, or Corporate Development.
• Strong analytical skills with solid knowledge in accounting, company valuation, and financial modeling.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a hands-on mentality and a proactive approach.
• Willingness to travel regularly for transactions.
• Fluent in German (C2 level) and very good English (at least C1) for working in an international transaction environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience in managing cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with IT service markets and trends.
• Previous exposure to high-stakes negotiations.
