Maintenance Technician - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team remotely. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining the day-to-day operations of our properties, ensuring they are safe, functional, and well-kept. This role is crucial to our property management team, and you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our residents' living experience.

What You'll Do

• Perform ground maintenance activities including mowing, weeding, and planting foliage.
• Respond to all 24-hour emergency maintenance requests promptly.
• Complete service requests within 48 hours, depending on the unit's status.
• Conduct structural maintenance, including painting and repairing fences and gates.
• Operate various tools and equipment for maintenance tasks, ensuring safety and compliance with standards.
• Maintain HVAC systems and perform minor pool maintenance as required.
• Assist with custodial duties and building repairs as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all company and regulatory safety standards.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED.
• 2-4 years of plumbing experience or equivalent training.
• Must possess basic tools including a drill, flashlight, and screwdriver set.
• Ability to perform heavy physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to respond to emergencies effectively.
