Maintenance Technician - Remote Opportunity

What You'll Do

• Maintain heating and hot water systems, ensuring safety and efficiency in all operations.
• Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, electrical equipment, and plumbing.
• Coordinate daily activities with the Site Manager, reporting any health or safety issues immediately.
• Conduct weekly inspections of buildings and grounds, documenting deficiencies and consulting with management.
• Handle maintenance and repairs in apartments, including unit turnovers and emergency responses.
• Ensure cleanliness of public areas, including hallways, stairways, and laundry facilities.
• Manage landscaping duties, including mowing, trimming, and snow removal as needed.
• Document all maintenance work and repairs accurately on work orders.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in maintenance or a related field.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and climb ladders up to 20 feet.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for site errands.
• Strong communication skills in English, both orally and in writing.
• Basic tools required; willingness to obtain necessary hand tools prior to employment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to attend mandatory meetings and training sessions.

• Certifications in HVAC, plumbing, or electrical systems.
