Maintenance Technician - Remote Opportunity
About the Role
We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our Operations team in a remote capacity. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for executing maintenance interventions on company systems and proactively verifying the causes of anomalies. You will also contribute to maintaining the active production process by collaborating with your supervisor and shift leaders in various departments.
What You'll Do
- Perform preventive maintenance operations according to agreed timelines and procedures.
- Report any peculiarities encountered during preventive maintenance and agree on corrective actions to be taken.
- Respond to anomalies (breakdowns and malfunctions) of both electrical and mechanical nature reported on machines and systems.
- Identify potential causes of anomalies by collecting data and insights from the responsible personnel or operators in the affected area.
- Gather necessary tools and equipment to carry out partial or total disassembly of components involved in the anomaly and perform repairs or regeneration as needed.
- Directly inspect defective parts and report any unforeseen circumstances regarding the scope of the intervention.
- Evaluate the condition of parts causing anomalies and proceed with their repair or replacement as necessary.
- Reassemble components and verify with the supervisor or area personnel the complete restoration of machine or system functionality.
- Collaborate with external contractors by providing technical support or direct assistance during maintenance activities on machines and systems.
Requirements
- Strong technical knowledge in electrical and mechanical systems.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
- Experience in diagnosing electrical faults on lines, motors, inverters, and PLC automation.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and manage situations independently.
- Familiarity with pneumatics and hydraulics, along with relevant schematics is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of PLC programming is a plus but not mandatory.
Nice to Have
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Certifications in maintenance or technical fields.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and practices.
