Logistics Specialist - Remote Opportunity at Heraeus

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Logistics Specialist to join our team at Heraeus. This Logistics Specialist remote position will allow you to contribute to our Chemical Logistics operations while working from the comfort of your own home. What You'll Do

• Ensure smooth operations of all logistical services in the Chemical Logistics sector.
• Receive goods, take sample tests, and manage the storage of incoming and outgoing products.
• Conduct internal transportation of goods using appropriate vehicles.
• Prepare goods for internal and external transport, securing them and performing logistics-specific transactions and bookings in SAP.
• Adhere to all regulatory requirements in Chemical Logistics and safety regulations, including fire protection and hazardous materials management.
• Operate forklifts, high rack stackers, and tools safely while conducting inventory checks.

Requirements

• Completed training in a technical or logistics profession.
• Valid forklift operator license.
• Strong SAP knowledge, preferably with EWM experience.
• Proficient in handling all vehicles, forklifts, and tools.
• Attention to cleanliness in work and workspace.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong understanding of workplace safety.

Nice to Have

• Experience in chemical logistics or related fields.
• Knowledge of additional logistics software.
• Fluency in German and English.
