About the Role

We are looking for a Logistics Planning Intern to join our team at Salzgitter. This Logistics Planning Intern role offers a unique opportunity to work in a world-class manufacturing environment while gaining valuable experience in logistics and supply chain management. You will be part of a dynamic team based in Dortmund, Germany, and will contribute to various logistics optimization projects.

What You'll Do

• Analyze and evaluate logistics processes to support efficient service delivery.
• Participate in optimization and digitalization projects within our logistics landscape.
• Prepare analysis results and create impactful presentations for internal decision-making.
• Assist in the development of our logistics IT systems, including SAP EWM.
• Collaborate with team members to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong analytical thinking skills and a good understanding of logistics processes.
• Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Some experience in warehouse logistics is preferred.
• Quick learner with the ability to work independently.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with logistics software and tools.
• Previous internship experience in a related field.
• Strong communication skills in English and German.
