Logistics Administrator - Remote Opportunity
About the Role
We are seeking a Logistics Administrator to join our team at CEVA Logistics. This remote Logistics Administrator position offers a unique opportunity to support our operations team while working from the comfort of your home. As a key member of our logistics team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics processes.
What You'll Do
- Manage and maintain operational paperwork, ensuring records are accurate and up to date.
- Support administration of driver compliance records, including medical questionnaires, training documents, assessments, and fuel card allocation.
- Monitor outstanding documents, tracking renewals and expiry dates to ensure compliance requirements are met.
- Maintain the driver training matrix and coordinate training with the scheduling team and driver trainer.
- Support onboarding of new starters and manage Penalty Charge Notices.
- Maintain records of driver equipment, issuing items and tracking returns or replacements.
- Ensure the driver rota is accurate and up to date, working with scheduling teams to allocate drivers to shifts.
- Escalate operational issues to the Operations Manager when required.
Requirements
- Strong administrative and organisational skills.
- Experience in logistics, transport administration, or fleet coordination is desirable.
- Good understanding of compliance requirements within logistics or transport operations.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with drivers, managers, and internal teams.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and operational systems.
- High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Nice to Have
- Experience with logistics software.
- Knowledge of GDPR compliance.
- Previous experience in a similar role.
